My boss (that sold me my new camera) told me about an amateur photography contest in her hometown.  Every year in Moulton, AL they have The Alabama Chicken & Egg Festival.  This year one of the festival contest was submitting photos of "farm life" including livestock, crops, farming equipment, etc. to be judged for cash prices.  A friend at work has all sorts of livestock, so she took me on an interesting tour of the her farm.  I may or may not have screamed like a little girl when the cows came towards me, and I also may or may not have stepped in a lot of "droppings".  She laughed at me the WHOLE time.  The day that I visited happened to be the day that one of her momma sheep had a baby.  She actually had twins, but one of them didn't make it.  The baby was precious and would have been a great picture, but the momma wouldn't let me get too close.  I told my friend that she needs to rent out the lamb because I know some CRAZY mommas that would love an Easter picture of their child holding that white lamb.  I didn't enter any of the pictures below, but you will get the idea.....
