We went to the oncologist Tuesday for my post-op appointment. We received really good news. The doctor said they had a meeting about my case and no treatment (radiation) is needed right now. The doctors feel like the cancer has been removed, and they will continue to watch me closely for the next 2 years. I have to go in every 3 months for 2 years for a knee MRI and chest CT. After 2 years, I will start going every 6 months for scans and eventually every year to make sure that I remain cancer free. We are praising God that today I am CANCER FREE!! I started PT today. People have been telling me that it would be very painful, so I was prepared meaning I took a pain pill before and after therapy. I have to go back to therapy on Friday and will go 3 times next week. Below are some pictures at my doctor's appointment yesterday of me waiting to hear the pathology results and the incision.

Wow...no wonder you were / are in so much pain...did you know the scar was that long? Or does it just look that long on camera?
