Ah. I keep reading about Montye. Our stories are so similar. You can read more about her on the links above. She had surgery to remove her tumor and cancer from her spine. Her tumor also came back malignant, but doctors felt like all was removed. Her follow-up treatment was chest CT scans and MRI every 3 months. She was cancer free for a while, but April 2010 her scans showed that cancer had returned and moved into her lungs. The long term survival rate (5+ years) is very low. Please pray for Montye and her family. I can't imagine having children while dealing with these health issues.
Surgery is tomorrow morning. Please pray. Pray specifically that they are able to remove any remaining tumor/cancer from my knee, Satan will not cause me to fear the return of cancer each time I go back for my scans, doctors & nurses, and my family traveling. I have put all my trust in God. I am ready for some good sleep, to have control of the bed, remote, and thermostat (I have an obsession with hospital beds. I'm so ready to adjust with the little remote!!), and to lounge in comfy clothes for several days (because I don't live in scrubs and pjs. No. Not me.). I shall return to blogging soon. I'm taking my camera to the hospital to take pictures of my first (and hopefully last until babies) hospital stay.
