Recovery

My boys came to visit.  Do you see Junior laying in Scott's lap??  I assure you Scott was not crying.  He looks so upset in this picture.  I think he was just listening to my mom tell a story.  Junior is actually here at my mom's house with me, but he isn't allowed to see me because he goes crazy.  I am the dog caretaker for the most part at our house.  Scott would not agree with that sentence, but it's true.  Due to Scott's crazy work schedule, he sometimes doesn't get home until late and I was worried that Junior wouldn't be taken out enough.  Mom kindly agreed to let the dog and I both stay.  Mom let him come in my room tonight when Scott came to visit.  He was calm and just stayed in his daddy's lap.  So sweet!!  Scott comes almost every night.  He brings my mail and gets nightly lessons on how to move me and what I have learned to do.  He wants me to come home this weekend, but mom thinks it will be after my doctor's appointment next week (which was moved to Tuesday).  Hopefully, I will get the staples/stitches removed at the doctor's appointment and will be able to get around a lot better.  I'm ready to go home, but I'm gonna miss my momma so bad.  I try to convince her every night not to go to work the next day.  I think she may stay home or at least come home early tomorrow!!

Speaking of my mom, I think she may like me being here too.  I know I make lots of request and need major help doing little things like going to the bathroom, but she gets to get on my facebook which makes everything worth it to her.  She loves facebook and wants one desperately, but she is not good with technology.  Since I'm here I can get her signed on and show her what to do, and she stays in my room looking at pictures most of the night.  It is so fun!!  We read blogs, facebook, search vacation spots, etc.  Is it weird that my dream is to live with my mom and my husband??
I am pretty much staying put in mom and Rick's guest bedroom.  It is set up with a tv, two fans, and computer.  All the important stuff.  I took a picture of my "bowl" of necessities beside me in the bed.  You can see the remote, snacks, glass case, brush, iphone, bag of magazines, and phone charger.  Do you notice what the "bowl" actually is??  Gross.  It is a bed pan from the hospital.  I used it one the car ride home because I was very nauseous and got sick.  The meds are still making me nauseous, so I keep it close by.  I promise it is clean.  Very clean.  I'm sharing too much.
