Locust Fork 6th Grade Play

Last week, Scott and I went to Locust Fork Elementary for the annual 6th grade play.  My MIL is the elementary school music teacher, so she works HARD all year getting ready for the big night.  The play was titled, "Lights, Camera, Action" and was Hollywood themed.  The kids did a great job as did Mrs. Partain.

I'm leaving Wednesday for a week in Destin with the girls, so I'll be back soon with updates and pictures.

Friday Favorites

Hello perfect camera bag.  The bag is made by jill-e.  I can't decide if I should spend the money on the cute bag or on a lens to help make the photos better.  Hmmmm.  I think the bag should come first, so I will have a safe place to keep the lens when I get it.  Right?  Yea.  Cute bag.

 

My MIL put soft lips shimmery gloss in my easter basket, and I LOVE it.  It is all the color I need plus it has SPF which is important since I tan every chance I get.  Make sure to get the one with shimmer.  It comes in rose, bronze, and pearl.  I use rose.

Yum.  It's like a ritz cracker and chip all in one.  Scott was not a fan, but I on the other hand finished the bag pretty quickly. :)

One of my college roomies, Shannon, is getting married to her fiance, Ted, June 12, 2010.  I went to B'ham last night for a couple's shower.  I honestly can't remember if I have ever met Ted before.  With facebook and everything else, it is HARD for me to remember who I've actually met in person.  Ha.  Besides getting to see my old college roommates, I got to meet Heather's boyfriend, John.  I might have scared him with my inappropriate comments and camera.  I guess freaking out in the middle of a conversation because I realized the lighting would be perfect for a great picture was a little much.  Be he kindly agreed to take another sip of his beverage for me to get "the shot".
