Jim 'n' Nick's Cheese Muffins

4 T butter (melted)
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
2 1/2 t baking powder
1 c sugar (2/3 c if you don't want them to taste soooo sweet)
3/4 c milk
1 egg
1/4 t vanilla
1 c shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 400 and bake muffins for 20 minutes. Enjoy with honey butter!!

I am officially in my LATE 20s. My mom and her husband, Rick, are leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow, so we went to dinner last weekend to celebrate. We went to Red Lobster and to Mom and Rick's house to watch the Auburn game.

The CAKE DEVIL. It is awesome. It can be used as a cake stand or flip it and it holds 2 dozen devil eggs. I was sooooooooo excited!!

The guys watched the game while the girls talked about decorating, drank coffee, ate cake, and gossiped.

Birthday Wish List

I am slightly out of commission due to a lumbar problem, and I am feeling the need to clean badly!! Scott is doing a great job, but let's face it....nobody can meet my high standards of cleanliness. I hope my mom is right when she always says that once I have kids I won't be so anal. Anyways, I really want the new scotch-brite cleaner for my upcoming b'day. Somebody promised to get it for me, so I hope he remembers. If he doesn't remember, I am sure I can fork over the small cost and get it myself. I will do a product review as soon as I try it out. I know you will all (5 or so readers) be waiting on pins and needles.

I'm wearing my dad's old shirt that I sleep in....I mean vintage Auburn gameday shirt from 1999....

It must be the beginning of Auburn football season. I am just going to be honest, so if you are a die hard Auburn fan please stop reading NOW. I have not returned to Auburn since March 2007 when I moved back home to get married and start my job. Scott and I haven't been back once to visit and really don't have any plans to. It's not that we don't LOVE Auburn, but I really prefer to go back in the summer when it is not crowded. I really only enjoy the eagle flying, Aubie, and the cheerleaders at the football games. I would really rather be at home sitting on the couch not too hot or too cold to watch the game. So, I am exactly where I want to be for kickoff. War Eagle!!
