Maw.Maw's 81st Birthday

My Maw.Maw. (my mom's mom) turned 81 yesterday.  We had a huge family party at Mom & Rick's house on Sunday after church.  Maw. Maw. has 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.  Almost everybody except The Carnes' were able to make it to the party.  We missed you Toby, Mindi, Luke, and Owen!! 

Game Night

Church was cancelled Sunday night because our church had a 125th Anniversary lunch after morning service.  Scott and I were bored, so we called a couple from our Sunday school class to come over and play monopoly.  We had a great time!!  I'm NOT a monopoly fan, but it's Scott's favorite.  I ended up winning, and Scott was the first to go bankrupt.  Jerika and Micah brought their baby girl, Makynli.  Jerika asked if they could all come over in pjs....I love that girl!!  Everybody at church gets Jerika and I confused.  We are constantly being asked if we are related when we go anywhere together.  We not only look similar, but we also think/act A LOT alike.  It's scary!!  I'm going to be a bridesmaid in her wedding May 2011.

Labor Day Weekend

My cousin Dawn had the whole family over for a cookout and swim party the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.  I had so much fun getting to see all of my cousin's kids.  The whole family usually eats at Maw. Maw.'s house every Sunday after church, but Scott and I rarely ever make it since we live about an hour away.  We left church early Sunday, so we could get to see everybody.

On Labor Day, we went to Scott's parents house for another cookout, and Scott got the ground ready for a fall garden.  Scott riding on the turnip green field.
