Summer Reading List

Since our beach vacation is over, it's now officially time to study, study, study.  The "big test" is in less then 2 months.  AHHHHHHHH!!  After my last health issues, I found out that I was anemic.  I hear women complain daily about having low iron and being tired, but I kind of just brushed it off.  Well, I'm here to tell you that anemia is real.  I have to nap from 4:15-5:15 almost every day just to find energy to cook dinner.  I'm trying to eat more meat (yuck!) and drink juice for vitamin C.  Every time I start to study, I get VERY sleepy.  I blame it on the anemia, but maybe it's just the material.  Memorial Weekend beach pictures are coming soon.

Disaster Relief

We have been set up at the local recreation center trying to sign up people for WIC that have been effected by the tornadoes.  The following picture is of our WIC interpreter, Marta, and our new office friend.

Nursery Duty

As mentioned in a previous post, I kept the bed babies in the nursery Sunday.  Although the class is called bed babies, I didn't have a single one sweet, sleeping newborn.  The 4 rowdy toddlers were pretty fun though!!  I did get to snuggle for a second before they would run off again for toys, goldfish, or juice.

Scott came in after church to see his girl, Makynli.  She adores Scott and the feeling may just be mutual.
Quads wouldn't be so bad.  HA!!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day started off with Mom and Rick joining us for Sunday school.  I had to keep 4 cuties in the nursery, so Mom and Rick sat with Scott during church.  We went to Red Lobster for lunch then back to mom and Rick's for cake, ice cream, and presents.

REJOICE

This is the day that the Lord has made.  We will rejoice and be glad in it.  Psalm 118:24
Life for me stopped Monday.  I cancelled my hair appointment because I didn't want to pay $75 to just lose my hair in a few weeks.  I ate EVERYTHING to pack on pounds that I would lose due to a loss of appetite during treatment.  I didn't work and just laid around for 5 days, but today is a new day.  Today is a gift from the Lord.  I've been soaking up the sun drinking a diet cherry coke.  Just livin'!!
